Taj Pollard (T.P.) is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and writer working across printmaking, book arts, A/V, and new genre and performance. A graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (BFA, New Studio Practice, 2022) and an alumnus of the Andrew W. Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship at the Art Institute of Chicago, his practice is rooted in questions of the material conditions of everyday life. Pollard is the Founder and Director of Common Grounds Press Ltd, a nonprofit arts and culture publishing organization, and serves as CEO and Solutions Architect of Amarii Productions Inc. His work has been exhibited at the Lynden Sculpture Garden, 5 Points Art Gallery + Studios, and MIAD RAW Space, and has appeared in Milwaukee Magazine and numerous independent publications. He is also a DJ and publisher under Normal Sand Records. His practice moves freely between the studio, the street, and the archive — always in search of the mark that survives.
